This is an exercise in cutting down an essay by using a 'scratchpad'. You will need a text that has been prepared for this exercise. To start, upload a short text in .txt or .md format with passages separated by carriage returns.
Drag and drop the passages below to create a more concise essay. You can drag passages to the 'scratchpad' on the right, or back to the 'essay' panel on the left. In the end, you should have a paragraph-length essay in the left panel that is shorter and more focused than the original. The final essay-length paragraph should be fairly coherent, although it may need some light editing.
